To present a new car, it is enough to make a special edition of this model. Such changes will attract not only new buyers, but also small changes in technical characteristics.
As the show in Japan showed, one and the only available engine will be a gasoline engine paired with an automatic transmission. It will be 2L DOHC. Thanks to the turbine, the unit of the new Discovery Sport 7 is capable of producing 240 horsepower. As already mentioned, the engine will be paired with an automatic nine-speed automatic transmission. As for the drive, it will be standard AWD.
The weight of the new crossover will be about 1800 kg. Discovery Sport 7 can accelerate to 100 km / h in 8.2 seconds. According to preliminary data, a total of one hundred Discovery Sport 7 Plus models will be sold in Japan. Half of them will be painted black, and 50 more will be dark gray.
The interior of the Land Rover Discovery Sport 7 Plus did not leave the eye on the sidelines. According to the manufacturer, the configurations will be 7-seater. Behind the front seat headrests, 8 "displays are installed to keep children and other passengers entertained. The trim is in standard leather, and the front fascia is expected to be available in several trims. But in both cases, the basic filling will not be different.
The front grille and side vents on the fenders are painted dark black, as are the five-spoke 19 ″ wheels. As expected for the Land Rover Discovery Sport 7 Plus, as a future car, it will be equipped with adaptive xenon headlights and an automatic boot lid.
With safety systems, you can note the brake assistant, which will help prevent unwanted braking. Airbags will also be included in any configuration. The cost of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport 7 Plus will cost 6,490,000 yen or $ 54,105.
Despite the added Plus name and new trim, the car is not newer, but still keeps the intrigue at the show, attracting attention.
