The completely new Kia Rio X-Line 2017 has officially appeared in dealerships in the Russian Federation. The same plant produces the latest generation Kia Rio sedan. Comparing the new hatch cross and the sedan, the cars are very similar. Under the hood, all the same gasoline engines are available, with a volume of 1.6 liters and 1.4 liters.
The power of the first is 123 horses, and the power of the second unit is 100 hp. A 6-speed automatic or manual transmission is available in pair with the Kia Rio X-Line 2017 engines. As for the drive, despite the name hatchback-crossover, only front-wheel drive, an all-wheel drive version of the car is not provided.
The new Kia Rio X-Line 2017 was not designed for beauty, but for real operating conditions and customer requirements. According to the managing director Alexander Moinov, for Russia this is the first crossover hatchback in this segment, a perfectly balanced car with different characteristics of two classes of cars. The buyer is offered four different configurations of the Kia Rio X-Line 2017: Comfort, Luxe, Prestige AV and maximum Premium.

The basic Kia Rio X-Line Comfort is offered in four variants, the price ranges from 774,900 to 839,900 rubles. All variants of engines and gearboxes are available for the buyer's choice. The second Luxe trim level is available only with a 1.6-liter engine. A complete set with mechanics will cost from 824,900 rubles, and the option with automatic transmission from 864,900 rubles. The penultimate configuration of the Kia Rio X-Line 2017 Prestige AV starts at 964,900 rubles, only a 1.6-liter gasoline unit with automatic transmission is available to the buyer. The maximum package Premium will cost from 1,024,900 rubles, the technical characteristics are the same as the Prestige AV, the only differences are in the electronics stuffing, comfort and security systems.
The basic safety systems of the Kia Rio X-Line Comfort include two airbags, an uphill start assistant, ESC and ABS. There is also a system of assistance in case of emergency braking, heated front seats and steering wheel, air conditioning, as well as the ERA-Glonass system, which is necessarily installed on all new cars. The maximum configuration of the Kia Rio X-Line is equipped with a modern multimedia system based on a touch screen, heated windshield, washer nozzles and rear seats.
In addition to the front airbags, engineers installed modern curtains and side airbags on the Kia Rio X-Line 2017, parking sensors, a Start / Stop button for controlling the unit and a keyless entry system are also listed.
