The first information about the appearance of a special Presidential series of Aurus Senat cars of the "Cortege" project appeared long before the official show of the new brand. A relative windshield, then even in the simplest configuration it will be thick, capable of protecting against a direct hit of a bulky object. For better aerodynamics of the Aurus Senat, the designers tilted it back. From the functional part, the windshield was equipped with a rain sensor, fully heated around the perimeter and heated in the area of ​​the wiper parking area.

Sideways new Senat depends on the design of the body, the choice of the buyer is offered a regular sedan or a limousine, similar to the one that was at the inauguration. The latter was also present at the exhibition, but on a separate platform and completely isolated. Therefore, it was not possible to consider the main car Aurus Senat from the "Cortege" project. Externally, the difference between a limousine and a sedan is only in the length of the base; in the interior, the differences are more noticeable.

If the front end of the Aurus Senat is somewhat reminiscent of Rolls-Royce, then on the side it is something in between the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Bentley. Massive door panels, small side windows and a wide chrome edging around the glass, while the center pillars will only be black. The door handles of the Aurus Senat sedan are made of steel with a chrome finish, similar to the molding at the bottom of the doors. Another interesting point, as such, the thresholds in the Aurus Senat sedan are absent, the designers extended the door part to the very bottom.

Relatively side mirrors rear view of the Aurus Senat, here the engineers have spared no effort and functionality. Every detail is thought out to the smallest detail, the overview allows you to fully see the situation behind, and when driving in reverse, the mirrors are automatically lowered down in order to see the situation around the perimeter as clearly as possible. With the functions of mirrors Aurus Senat, it is worth noting heating, electric adjustment, automatic folding and LED turn signal repeaters.

What will be sedan color the Senat series is still unknown; a burgundy version with a black tint was presented at the Moscow Auto Show. Earlier, a black version of the sedan was shown, most likely the shades will be sustained, with a strict black tint. The new Aurus Senat is based on massive 20 ″ light-alloy wheels with 255/55 tires. For one bend of the line, the designers made the rear window and the trunk lid. You can open the trunk lid of the Aurus Senat in all available ways, including using the button hidden above the number panel. In terms of dimensions, the Aurus Senat lid is large, in the same way as the luggage compartment itself.

There are no special decorative elements at the back of the Aurus Senat, if you don't take into account the brand's emblem and a small chrome insert on the lid. The rear bumper looks understated and nothing more, at the heart of a chrome surround and a pair of exhaust tips. It seems that such a design of the Aurus Senat is unique, but by looking closely, you can recognize the cars of the Bentley company.

The last detail of the exterior of the new Aurus Senat is the roof. While there is not so much information on this matter, the manufacturer does not specify the details of production and design. Nevertheless, according to some reports, armored vehicles will acquire a solid roof, without a hatch and panorama, but with reinforced stiffeners. Civilian versions of the Aurus Senat are likely to be equipped with a large panoramic roof with a sliding front part, while the glass itself will be armored to avoid unforeseen situations. The back of the Aurus Senat roof will be decorated with a shark fin antenna as standard.

Drawing a conclusion about the appearance of the presented Aurus Senat 2018, the designers managed to surprise. The car turned out to be modern, strict and presentable, which is to be expected from this class of cars. Many parts of the Aurus Senat are made from real materials, no replacement or camouflage. If the chrome is real, if the inserts, then only from natural materials.

If the appearance of the Aurus Senat is attractive, then the interior of the novelty is simply luxurious and will surprise even the most demanding customer. At the Moscow Auto Show, it was possible not only to examine the Aurus Senat in all details, but also to touch the materials and interior details with oneself.

Aurus Senat will be offered a choice of mahogany, olive or the most expensive etome tree (also known as the tiger tree).

In order to finally give the luxurious look of the Aurus Senat, two pillows with an embroidered Aurus lettering were added to the headrests of the second row of seats, a couple more are just in the set.

If we consider the second row of the Aurus Senat limousine, then the differences are only in the presence of additional seats or more legroom, as well as additional functions in the form of a large central display, communication with the driver and a dividing glass. What else will please the interior of the Aurus Senat limousine, the manufacturer does not disclose information yet.

If the appearance and interior of the new Aurus Senat can be viewed and touched, the manufacturer has told a lot about the technical characteristics. In particular, it became known that the first models of the company's cars will be equipped with a gasoline turbocharged V8 engine with a capacity of 598 horses in tandem with an electric motor. To transmit torque, Aurus Senat uses a 9-speed automatic transmission KATE, developed and assembled in Russia, as well as a high-voltage traction battery. Regarding the drive, it is only complete, there are no other options.

Previously, I used the Internet the myth that the engine and transmission of the Aurus Senat are allegedly copied from the Bavarian S63 and N63, but after the official demonstration of a separate wall with the engine and transmission, it is not so difficult to notice the differences, which means the engine and transmission are of our own design.If you look closely, you can see that the Aurus Senat engineers placed the turbocharger on the outer sides of the cylinder blocks, and not in the collapse, like in Bavarian units.

The blowers are of the same type, marked with the IHI company and one more detail, the transmission and drive of all attached chain elements. In total, Aurus Senat engineers installed 4 chains according to FSO requirements, each chain is designed for a full engine operation cycle, but the manufacturer does not name the power reserve. Yet there are some things about the Aurus Senat that overlap and resemble BMWs. The all-wheel drive system is arranged in the same way, on the basis of an electrically controlled electromagnetic clutch and a chain in the transfer case. At the rear, you can also find similarities with BMW in the Aurus Senat; engineers have designed a rear 4-link suspension with one integral lever, which simply no one could have foreseen before.
