The interior of the new Ferrari Portofino is distinguished by a modern multimedia system based on a 10.2 ″ touch screen. Also, the Ferrari Portofino salon has acquired a new climate control system and a steering wheel. Following the front fascia, the designers have installed new front seats, they can be adjusted in 18 different positions. The aerodynamics of the Ferrari Portofino have not been spared, a new wind deflector has been installed at the top of the windshield, which has reduced air flow into the cabin by 30% and reduced aerodynamic noise.
Under the hood of the new Ferrari Portofino is a 3.9-liter V8 biturbo petrol engine. The maximum power of the unit is 600 horses, the maximum torque is 760 Nm. Compared to its predecessor, the Ferrari California T, the engine produced 560 horsepower with a maximum torque of 755 Nm.
The maximum speed of the new Ferrari Portofino is 320 km / h, and the first hundred on the speedometer can be overcome in 3.5 seconds. Another plus that benefited the Ferrari Portofino is an increase in the dynamic characteristics of a sports car and a proportional reduction in fuel consumption, on average, about 10.5 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers will be required. For this, the engineers completely replaced the Ferrari Portofino piston system, connecting rods, exhaust and fuel intake system. Following this, the adaptive suspension SCM-E and a number of other components responsible for power and dynamics were refined.
The manufacturer will reveal more detailed characteristics of the Ferrari Portofino in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show at the world premiere of the car, then the price of the new sports car will be officially announced. According to preliminary data, there is already demand for the Ferrari Portofino, especially for collectors who buy the first models from the assembly line.
