The most popular color for cars is white for the sixth year in a row. According to statistics for 2016, 37% of all produced cars in the world were painted in this color, among them 9% with a pearlescent tint and 28% - regular white. Compared to the previous year, the popularity of white has grown by 2%. Among the countries of the world, the most popular white cars are in Asia. It is there that you can find almost 50% of cars painted in white, the second place in the ranking is occupied by black with an indicator of 18%. To this day, it is considered a classic color and fans of strict body shapes and bulky, expensive cars are often painted in black. The third place is divided between gray and silver, they both occupy 11% of the total car market, like the leader of the rating, gray is gaining popularity every year. In Europe, gray is more popular than silver by 6%, in North America by 5%, and in South Korea by 7%.

When it comes to bold hues, red is the go-to for bold hues in North America, accounting for 10% of the new car market. In Europe, they prefer blue with a 9% rating. In Asia, preference is given to yellow and golden, the share is 4%.
