Skoda Karoq - characteristics of the new crossover

It is known for sure that the new Skoda Karoq will completely replace the Skoda Yeti. The design of the novelty is made in the same style as the last known Kodiaq. Modern LED optics give the new crossover a stylish look. Now the manufacturer has revealed the technical data of the Skoda Karoq. The wheelbase of the new crossover is 2638 mm, but the all-wheel drive version will be 8 mm shorter.

The width of the novelty is 1841 mm, and the height is 1605 mm, the length of the novelty is 4382 mm, which is quite a lot for a crossover. In comparison with its predecessor, the new Skoda Karoq has become 160 mm longer and 48 mm wider in width. But now the height has become less by 86 mm, as well as the distance between the axles, decreased by 60 mm for the usual version, and 52 mm for the all-wheel drive crossover. Since the rear seats of the Skoda Karoq can move, the volume of the trunk also changes from 479 liters up to 588 liters. If the rear seats are folded down, the luggage compartment volume is 1,630 liters. Despite the innovations and modern developments of the Skoda Karoq, the engineers decided to leave the function of completely removing the rear seats, with this option the trunk volume will be 1810 liters.

In terms of engine configuration, several options for gasoline and diesel will be available for the new Skoda Karoq. The most powerful will be the 190 hp diesel unit. and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. More information about the new crossover will appear closer to the premiere, but the maximum list with the start of sales of the first copies.

As many motorists already say, the new Skoda Karoq crossover will essentially be a smaller copy of the Skoda Kodiaq's older brother, with a slightly modified design.
