The American manufacturer has partially declassified the new massive Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020. The design of the new item is not at all similar to its predecessors and younger brother, as they also named some characteristics and parameters.
The appearance of the new Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020 was an unexpected step for many fans of the company, although information about the appearance of a new generation of a large truck has repeatedly surfaced on the Internet. The manufacturer only partially opened the photo of the new pickup, but they decided to keep the interior a secret. The appearance of the new Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020 is not at all similar to the younger brother of the 1500, although they often overlapped in design.
Only the roof got from the younger brother, otherwise the Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020 looks brutal and rough. This is exactly how the designers conceived it, thereby bringing the design closer to the massive trucks of the brand. The front end sports a large grille, with a wide chrome line down the center. The optics of the novelty is divided into two parts, upper and lower, the latter being simply huge in size. The front bumper of the new Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020 received a minimum of changes, there are still two foglights, hooks and protection at the very bottom. The hood of the new pickup has not changed much either, and two massive protrusions and an air intake only add additional roughness to the new product.

According to the manufacturer, all kinds of body and cab options will be offered to the buyer's choice, which means that the number of trim levels and variations will be huge. The designers added a side step at the junction of the body and the cab, as well as plastic arch linings, which is also not unimportant. The rear bumper of the Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020 also received two additional steps in addition to the third central one. This not only added a plus in comfort, but also looks much more aggressive.
In addition, the rear feet of the Chevrolet Silverado HD 2020 have been modified, now they are fully LED, like the front optics. The tailgate is adorned with brand lettering and a pair of nameplates. In particular, this is a new gasoline unit with direct injection and a turbocharged V8 Duramax diesel engine. The power of the gasoline engine is still kept secret, but the diesel will be able to give out about 1234 Nm of torque... The transmission will also be different, for a gasoline engine it is a 6-speed automatic transmission, for a diesel engine it is a 10-speed Allison automatic transmission.
The manufacturer still keeps the rest of the characteristics secret, the official premiere will take place in February 2019.
